  • What makeup/ brands do you use?
My bridal kit comes packed full of only the most luxurious products that will make you feel truly pampered on your special day. Premium products such as Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown are among the main ones used to ensure the best care for your skin along with highest standard & finish.
  • How long will my bridal makeup take?
I allow one hour and thirty minutes for bridal makeup and one hour and ten minutes hour for any other bridal party member. My bridal parties are never rushed and always made to feel special and completely pampered on the day.
  • Will my makeup last throughout my entire wedding day?
Of course! The products used by myself are of the highest quality and applied in such a way that they are designed to stand the test of time. During your trial we will discuss your skin and make sure that your makeup is specifically catered to your skin type and texture. This will help me create the perfect prep and base for your skin to ensure longevity. I always recommend that you have your own lip liner, lipstick and gloss (if required), to top up without throughout the day. For oilier skin types, a setting powder is also a great thing to carry on the day to keep any excess oil at bay.
  • Is a bridal preview necessary?
A bridal preview is highly recommended to ensure your wedding day look is exactly as you envision. It allows us to trial your chosen hair and, or makeup, discuss your style, try accessories, and ensure there are no allergies to any products. This way, you can feel confident, knowing every detail has been perfected before your big day.
  • Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a £150 deposit is required to secure your wedding day. If you choose to add a bridal preview, payment for this will be due when scheduling (typically 6 months before your wedding day) and will be deducted from your total. The remaining balance is then due 48 hours prior to your wedding.
  • How far do you travel?
I’ll travel as far as you need! My travel fee is based on location and distance, charged at 50p per mile plus £15 per hour spent traveling. For venues over 1.5 hours away, accommodation for the night prior will also be required to ensure I’m there bright and early for your big day.
  • How soon am I able to book my bridal makeup?
I begin booking 18 months in advance, so the sooner, the better!
  • I'm a little nervous about booking so far in advance, can I have my preview before paying my deposit?
I understand how important it is to feel confident about your wedding day look, which is why I work a bit differently. I do not offer standalone trial services—most brides book me based on my reputation, over ten years of bridal beauty experience, and because they love my work. Once your wedding date is secured, we schedule a preview session six months before your special day, where we’ll work together to perfect a look tailored just for you. This way, every detail is considered, so you can feel relaxed and excited for your wedding day!
  • Is it possible to use some of my own makeup or moisturiser on the day?
Absolutely! I want you to feel comfortable and confident on your big day, so if there’s a product you love and know works well for your skin, I’m more than happy to include it in your makeup application.
  • What happens if my hair or makeup artist needs to cancel or is unavailable on my wedding day?
In the rare event of illness or unavoidable circumstances, I will make every effort to arrange a trusted replacement artist for you. If this isn’t possible, I will issue a full refund. While this is highly unlikely, your peace of mind is my priority.
  • My mum/elderly relative is quite anxious about having their hair and makeup done. Will you be able to create a look they’ll love?
Of course! I understand that some people may feel nervous about having their hair and makeup done, especially if it’s their first time. My approach is always gentle and accommodating. I take the time to listen to their preferences and concerns, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process. It will be so lovely for them to be involved and pampered on your special day, and we’ll work together to create a look that enhances their natural beauty while making sure they feel confident and happy with the final result.
  • How to best prepare for my preview?
Makeup: Feel free to bring any of your favourite makeup products, it's always great to understand your preferences. Arriving with a bare face is perfect but feel free to bring some pics of how you would usually do your makeup for a special occasion. I also love hearing not only your likes but any dislikes too! You'll receive a pre-preview form to help you share all these details. Hair: Wash and dry your hair the day before the trial, leaving it smooth for the best styling results (especially if you have frizz or curls). If you have any particular accessories, clip-in extensions you are planning on wearing please bring these with you. I am all for you bringing some Instagram or Pinterest pics to help show me your vibe. Please do make sure you are looking at styles with similar eye colour, eye shape, features, hair length, colour & thickness.
  • Is a bridesmaid’s preview necessary?
While not essential, a bridesmaid’s preview helps ensure your bridal party’s look is cohesive and well-suited for photographs. It also gives your bridesmaids a chance to feel confident and happy with their final look, helping to avoid any last-minute concerns.
  • How soon do I need to pay my deposit to secure my special day?
Due to high demand, I’m unable to hold your date without a deposit. During peak wedding season, I often receive multiple inquiries per date and frequently have to turn away brides. For this reason, I recommend securing your date within 48 hours of receiving your quotation. If I'm unavailable on your wedding day, I’d be happy to provide recommendations to help you find a trusted artist.
  • How long does a bridal preview session take?
On average, a bridal preview takes around 1 hr 45 mins. This allows time for consultation, creating your dream look and addressing any questions you have to make sure you’re thrilled with your bridal look.
  • Can you accommodate different skin tones and hair types?
Yes, absolutely. I’m experienced in working with a variety of skin tones and hair types and have extensive experience in color matching, ensuring everyone looks and feels their best on the big day. If you have any specific requirements, please share them beforehand so we’re fully prepared.
