-
How long will my bridal makeup take?I allow one hour and thirty minutes for bridal makeup and one hour and ten minutes hour for any other bridal party member. My bridal parties are never rushed and always made to feel special and completely pampered on the day.
-
Will my makeup last throughout my entire wedding day?Of course! The products used by myself are of the highest quality and applied in such a way that they are designed to stand the test of time. During your trial we will discuss your skin and make sure that your makeup is specifically catered to your skin type and texture. This will help me create the perfect prep and base for your skin to ensure longevity. I always recommend that you have your own lip liner, lipstick and gloss (if required), to top up without throughout the day. For oilier skin types, a setting powder is also a great thing to carry on the day to keep any excess oil at bay.
-
Is a bridal trial necessary?A bridal trial is always recommended by myself, however it is not mandatory when booking your wedding date. A bridal trial will allow you to perfect your look before your big day, meet your artist and of course get a feel for what you will look like on your special day. It also allows you to make any needed changes for the day, ensure you have no allergies to products and to test the longevity of the makeup.
-
Do you require a deposit?Yes, I require a minimum deposit of £100.00, and a signed contract to hold your wedding date. This is due on the date of your trial, or when ready to book and is then taken off of your remaining balance to pay on the day. Deposit amount is subject to number of services/ bridal party members so can vary.
-
How far do you travel? As far as you need me! My travel fee is based on location and distance. However, if your venue is more than 1.5 hours drive then accomodation for the previous evening will be required.
-
How soon am I able to book my bridal makeup?I start booking a year and a half in advanced so the sooner, the better!
-
I'm a little nervous about booking so far in advance, can I have my trial but give a deposit at a later date?Due to high demand we are unable to reserve your date past your trial without a deposit. I often have 3-5 inquiries per wedding dates during prime wedding season and highly recommend deciding that day to ensure you are able to book with me. Your deposit is to be paid within 48 hours after having your trial.
-
Is it possible to use some of my own makeup or moisturiser on the day?Yes of course! I want you to feel totally comfortable on your big day, so if you would like us to use a product you know works well on your skin I am more than happy to do so.
-
What if my hair or makeup artist has to cancel the hair or makeup before the wedding date or is ill on the day of the wedding?Cancellations by the hair or makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the hair or makeup artist incapable of their obligations, the hair or makeup artist will endeavour to find a suitable replacement however if this is not possible a full refund will be given by the hair or makeup artist. No further compensation will be offered.
-
Is a bridesmaid's trial necessary?I usually recommend that one person from your bridal party has a trial however, it is not essential. This just gives you peace of mind, to ensure the perfect balance for the photographs and that the wedding party are perfectly happy with the final result. It's just another detail covered for the wedding/event, so no little stresses are to arise for your bridal party.

How should I prep for my trial?Makeup For makeup it would be helpful to bring along the makeup you currently use, as we will go though any items as part of the consultation to understand what level of makeup you feel comfortable with. You can have makeup on or bare faced before application it is up to you as the makeup can be taken off if necessary. Hair Please wash and dry your hair the day before the trial, it is important that the hair is left in a smooth condition as this will be best for styling the hair. (especially if you have a frizz or curl to your hair). Although we will have some accessories to hand, If you do have a particulair accessory in mind then please feel free to bring this along. If you plan to wear clip in hair extensions on the day please bring these along to the trial and please let us know beforehand. If you have a very particular style in mind then ----- in the hair or makeup styling please feel free to show us any hair or makeup ideas you have collected.
